Half-Marathon Training Program- This 8-week program starts the week on Saturday, April 14, and ends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Our training session on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. will consist of track workouts and Saturdays at 7:00 A.M will incorporate distance miles. Fee for this program is $65 and registration will be on signmeup.com. This training session is geared towards the Fontana Days Run, but can easily be modified and applied to another race. Runners & run/walkers who can comfortably run or run/walk 3 miles at a 13 minute per mile pace are great candidates for this training program. Coach Dave will lead you in training. Training will focus on pace, speed work, and endurance. Specific training plans will enable anyone to complete their first half marathon or improve over previous performances.
