Half-Marathon Training Program

8 weeks for $50!  Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - Saturday, October 13, 2018

Half-Marathon Training Program-  This 8-week program will consist of Tuesday/Thursday runs at 6:30 and Saturday distance miles at 7:00 a.m.  Fee for this program is $50 and registration will be on signmeup.com.  Important Note:  Click HERE to register.  Please e-mail dave@fleetfeetranchocucamonga.com for more information.

This training session is geared towards the Revel Big Bear, but can easily be modified and applied to another race.  Runners & run/walkers who can comfortably run or run/walk 3 miles at a 13 minute per mile pace are great candidates for this training program.  Coach Dave will lead you in training.  Training will focus on pace, speed work, and endurance.  Specific training plans will enable anyone to complete their first half marathon or improve over previous performances.

    • An on-line training program and calendar with workouts provided.
    • Option to run or run/walk during training.
    • Coach-guided twice weekly training sessions.
    • Access to coaches via email or in person during the week and training runs.
    • Mapped long run with on course support. 
    • Informational on proper gear, injury prevention, nutrition and more.
