5 Week Track Session

Join us for Track Workouts, Tuesdays from 7/23 - 8/20 at 6:30 p.m. (an hour class).

7/23 Update:  We will meet at Chaffey College.

Planned workouts will take place at the Chaffey College Track when permitted.  $1.00 per hour parking fee.

No charge to those already registered in the Fleet Feet Running Club

This is a 5 week program.  Sign up for all 5 classes or do classes individually.  You can register online for a single class only for $15.  Click HERE to register.  Drop in fee ​is $15 for individual classes.  You can pay and register on location- waiver must be signed and cash only.  Please arrive early.

Don't let the name scare you off. If you can complete a 1 mile run then track workouts are for you. Our Track Sessions training program is a great way to stay race ready and mix up your weekly running miles while becoming a more well rounded runner. Minimum age to participate is 14 years of age. 

 

The 5 Week Sessions are designed to teach fundamentals and coach participants in:
  • Increasing speed
  • Improving form
  • Developing core strength
  • Overall body strengthening
  • Proper warm up and cool down

Throughout the training we will challenge your legs as well as your heart and lungs as you push yourself to get faster, stronger, and more efficient.  Prepare to be surprised by all that you can accomplish!

Program Start: Tuesday, July 23, 2019
Program Schedule: 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20
Program Fee: $50 foe all 5 classes or $15 for each individual class
Description: • Open to beginners and avid runners. • This session teaches the proper steps to an effective track workout that will help build speed. • Taking all five classes would be the most effective, but each class will offer benefits taken on it's own. • Each class will focus on the warm up, drills, the specific speed workout, a cool down, and proper form. • The goal of this program is to give confidence and direction when doing a track workout. If you already are experienced at track workouts, this gives you the opportunity do the workout and get tips, advice, etc. on specifics.
