Join us for Speed Sessions Track Workouts

Planned workouts will take place at the Chaffey College Track when permitted.

This is a 7 week program.  Six weeks of training and one week for a timed trial. 

Don't let the name scare you off. If you can complete a 1 mile run then Speed Sessions are for you. Our Speed Sessions training program is a great way to stay race ready and mix up your weekly running miles while becoming a more well rounded runner. Minimum age to participate is 14 years of age. 

 

Speed Sessions are designed to coach participants in:
  • Increasing speed
  • Improving form
  • Developing core strength
  • Overall body strengthening
  • Proper warm up and cool down

Throughout the training we will challenge your legs as well as your heart and lungs as you push yourself to get faster, stronger, and more efficient.  Prepare to be surprised by all that you can accomplish!
